ACCORDING TO THIS NASA REPORT (REF-1)THE ZAGROS MOUNTAINS IN IRAN WAS FORMED BY THE COLLISION OF THE EURASIAN AND ARABIAN TECTONIC PLATES:THIS REPORT ALSO SAID THAT LAYERS OF SALT HAVE BEEN FOUND ON THE MOUNTAINS.IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT SALT IS ALSO FOUND ON THE VOLCANIC MOUNTAIN OF ANTARCTICA CALLED AS MOUNT EREBUS.(REF-2)THEREFORE CONTRARY THE NASA REPORT THE ZAGROS MOUNTAINS ALSO FORMED BY THE VOLCANIC ACTIVITY.
